Covid-19 and the EEA grants 

The global health crisis that is affecting Europe is impacting the EEA and Norway Grants. The COVID-19 and the measures implemented across Europe to halt the spread of the virus are impacting both the projects funded by the Grants and the people involved in the project implementation.

The NCA is closely cooperating with its partners find find mitigating measures, from delaying to re-scheduling activties and considering alternative solutions to implement meetings and activities, through online platforms,webinars and e-learning. 

Regional judicial conference in Dubrovnik, 26-29 March, 2019

The first Regional conference within the scope of the project “Support to Judicial reform in the Western Balkans II”, implemented by the Norwegian Courts Administration (NCA) and based on agreement between the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs the NCA, will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia on 26 – 29  March, 2019.

4-5 juni, 2019, hadde DA`s internasjonale sekretariat gleden av å ta imot delegasjoner fra Romania og Litauen på besøk i Trondheim, som en del av EØS samarbeidet.

8 representanter fra Latvia`s DA fikk en introduksjon i det norske rettssystemet, gjennom presentasjoner fra internasjonalt sekretariat, og omvisning og presentasjoner fra ansatte i Trondheim tingrett.  

NCA terminates the cooperation with Poland under the Norway Grants Justice Programme

The board of the Norwegian Courts Administration (NCA) has decided to terminate its involvement as partner in the Justice programme in Poland under the EEA grants.  - Against the backdrop of increased political control over the judiciary in Poland, it is not possible for the NCA to continue as partner, says NCA`s director, Sven Marius Urke.
