Conciliation boards
Conciliation boards are the first step in the legal system for civil cases. They are primarily mediation bodies. Read more about conciliation boards on their website.
Court-like bodies
Some bodies are commonly referred to as court-like because they share certain similarities with courts. They are formally classed as administrative bodies, but they are organised and consider cases in the same way as courts.
These bodies resolve legal disputes. Their decisions are legally binding and they have a significant degree of independence with respect to their professional activities. However, their decisions can be reviewed by the courts of justice.
