CEPEJ
The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) is a judicial body, composed of experts from all the 47 member States of the Council of Europe, with a purpose to improve the efficiency and functioning of justice in Europe. The NCA is a member representing Norway.
ENCJ
The European Network of Councils for the Judiciary (ENCJ) unites the national institutions in the Member States of the European Union. The criterion for membership is a national institution independent of the executive and legislature, and which are responsible for the support of the Judiciaries in the independent delivery of justice. Norway is not a member of the EU and thus holds status as Observer, but participate in Working Groups together with Member States.
The Lisbon Network
Established by the Council of Europe in 1995. Forum for discussion and competence building among judges and prosecutors. The NCA represents Norway.
HELP
European Programme for Human rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) is a three year long educational programme established by the Council of Europe. The programme aims to enhance the capacity of judges, lawyers and prosecutors in all 47 member states to apply the ECHR in their daily work. The NCA represents Norway.
EJTN
The European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), established in 2000, develops training standards and curriculum, coordinates judicial training exchanges and programmes and fosters cooperation between EU national training bodies. The NCA represents Norway.
SEND
(Samarbeidsorgan for Etterutdanning av Nordiske Dommere) An institution tasked with coordinating educational programmes for judges in the Nordic countries.
IACA
International Association For Court Administration (IACA), established in 2004, aims to promote professional court administration and management. The NCA is a member.
