Administrative management

Bente Johanne Kraugerud is the Supreme Court's Secretary-General. Christopher Haugli Sørensen is the Deputy Secretary-General.

Bente J. Kraugerud took up the position of Secretary-General on 1 October 2019. She was born in 1974 and grew up in Rakkestad. 

Graduated in law from the University of Oslo. She was previously Head of Negotiations at Virke (the Enterprise Federation of Norway), and also has experience from the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation and from private law practice.

Christopher Haugli Sørensen took up the position of Deputy Secretary-General on 21 March 2019. He was born in 1982 and grew up in Larvik. 

Graduated in law from the University of Oslo. He was previously a deputy judge at Oslo District Court and acting judge at Borgarting Court of Appeal. Started as a law clerk in the Supreme Court and became Deputy Head of the Legal Secretariat in January 2018.
