Do you wish to attend a hearing?
There is no need to pre-register if you wish to attend a hearing in the Supreme Court Building. Most of the hearings are open to the public.
If a hearing will take place behind closed doors, this will be noted on our website.

The hearings are held in the courtrooms of the Supreme Court Building. Address: Høyesteretts plass 1, Oslo.
Entrance for wheelchair users
There is a marked entrance for wheelchair users next to the main entrance on Høyesteretts plass 1. Ring the doorbell and a receptionist will receive you, conduct a manual security check and guide you to the correct courtroom. You do not need to pre-register to follow a case in the Supreme Court Building, but feel free to contact info@hoyesterett.no in advance if you will need assistance.

Live streaming of hearings
New video and audio equipment is installed in the courtroom of the Second Division (the plenary courtroom). The equipment will also be used for live streaming of selected hearings.
