Judgment in grand chamber case
On Thursday 11 June at 15:00, the Supreme Court will deliver its judgment in the grand chamber case concerning the possibility of claiming damages for the courts' alleged infringement of EEA law.
The proceedings are open to the public and are expected to conclude at approximately 16:00. They will also be livestreamed on the Supreme Court’s website. Members of the public are welcome to attend at the Supreme Court Building; no preregistration is required.
Subject matter
The possibility of claiming damages for the courts’ alleged infringement of EEA law, and the extent to which the limitations in section 200 subsection 3 of the Courts of Justice Act must yield to obligations under EEA law.
