New justices to the Supreme Court

Thomas Horn and Lars Marius Heggberget were appointed justices of the Supreme Court of Norway on Friday, 17 April 2026.

Thomas Horn is currently a partner at the law firm Schjødt. He has previously been a doctoral research fellow at the University of Oslo and holds a PhD in human rights and criminal procedure.

Lars Marius Heggberget currently serves as Municipal Attorney and heads the Office of the Municipal Attorney in Trondheim. He also has previous experience in private practice.
