Supreme Court judgment 1 September 2022, HR-2022-1653-A, (case no. 22-050857STR-HRET), criminal case, appeal against judgment

A (Counsel Øystein Ola Storrvik) v. The Public Prosecution Authority (Counsel Anders Mandal Funnemark)

The sentence for one violation of section 155 of the Penal Code, two violations of section 274, cf. section 273 of the Penal Code, one violation of section 351 of the Penal Code, as well as for violations of the Road Traffic Act and of drugs legislation, was one year and two month of imprisonment. This was after a deduction of two months for a long delay. The convicted person had driven his car into a uniformed police service car, which was damaged, and two police officers who were sitting in the car were subjected to trauma in the neck region that resulted in sick leave and persistent pains for both. Sentencing was waived under section 61 of the Penal Code for four drug offences that were below the threshold for prosecution.
